SAN DIEGO — Not only is Matt Groening the creator of “The Simpsons,” but he’s also the owner of a special themed guest bedroom!

The creators of the long-running hit series attended San Diego Comic-Con and attended an autograph signing. While chatting with On The Red Carpet at pop culture’s biggest event, Groening dished on his unique room, “I have a special ‘Simpsons’ themed guest bedroom. And, it’s got ‘Simpsons’ bed sheets, and ‘Simpsons’ pillows, and a ‘Simpsons’ lamp, and ‘Simpsons’ wallpaper, and ‘Simpsons’ draperies.”

So, what’s Groening’s favorite thing about this particular space in his house? “The amazing thing about having a ‘Simpsons’ guest bedroom is people only stay one night,” Groening jokingly revealed.

Check out Groening, producer David Silverman, writers Matt Selman and Michael Price reacting to the show’s upcoming guest stars, nabbing the cover of “TIME” magazine and being nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program.

Fans can watch all 36 seasons of “The Simpsons” streaming on Disney+ now and season 37 premieres tonight.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Disney+ and this ABC station.
