The swans and their eggs were stolen from the Highland Village Mobile Home Park at 375 Brannen Road in Lakeland

LAKELAND, Fla. — Two black swans and four of their eggs were stolen on Wednesday from a mobile home park in Lakeland, and Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for the two suspects responsible.

In a Facebook post, the agency shared that the swans and their eggs were stolen from the Highland Village Mobile Home Park at 375 Brannen Road in Lakeland. The theft reportedly happened between 9:04 p.m. and 9:43 p.m.

Surveillance video of the theft appears to show two men with capture poles arriving in a car before approaching a body of water together.

During the evening of Wednesday, February 12th, two black swans and four of their eggs were stolen from the Highland Village Mobile Home Park of Lakeland, at 375 Brannen Road.

The theft occurred between 9:04pm and 9:43pm.

Two suspects were visible on security video during that time.
