Thirsty thieves steal 80 trendy Stanley cups from Dick's Sporting Goods on Long Island

Two thirsty thieves stole 80 Stanley drinking cups from a Dick’s Sporting Goods on Long Island, cops said.


These two men are being sought

by Suffolk County Police.

According to Patch, the two thieves were captured on surveillance cameras at a Dick’s store in Commack on Feb. 4. They managed to steal metal water-jugs worth $3,225 before exiting the store.

Despite leaving the premises without getting caught, the criminals are now being sought for grand larceny. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers have put out a plea for any information that could help in apprehending the suspects, even offering a monetary reward for valuable tips.

Dick’s Sporting Goods did not respond to a request for comment.
