In a tragic incident that unfolded on the West Side of Chicago, authorities have identified one of the victims in a deadly shooting that claimed three lives near a barbershop last Friday afternoon. The violence erupted in the vicinity of North Pulaski Road and West Maypole Avenue, just before 5 p.m.

According to Chicago police, the attack involved two gunmen who approached a group of people and opened fire. The motive behind this brazen act of violence remains unknown at this time. The shooting resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left one person critically injured.

Eyewitnesses recounted to law enforcement that the victims were standing on the sidewalk when a vehicle pulled up. At least two individuals armed with guns emerged and began firing at the group. Among those killed were a 32-year-old woman, a 36-year-old man, and another male whose age has yet to be determined.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has since identified the female victim as Rickia Williams, a resident of Chicago. As the community grapples with this senseless act of violence, police continue their investigation to uncover the reasons behind the attack and bring those responsible to justice.
