Tim Allen included a note for the late Charlie Kirk’s family with his September 11 remembrance post on Thursday.

To commemorate the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, the 72-year-old actor shared a poignant message on the social media platform X.

He wrote to his 1.1 million followers on the app: ‘On this sad and [sic] day remembering 9-11.’

The longtime entertainer continued, ‘I add a somber prayer for Charlie Kirk’s family. This is a very dark moment.’

It came less than 24 hours after 31-year-old right-wing activist Kirk was shot dead during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University.

Tim addressed his 1.1 million followers on X, stating: ‘On this solemn day of remembering 9-11, I offer a heartfelt prayer for Charlie Kirk’s family. It’s indeed a very somber time.’

The Turning Point USA co-founder is survived by wife Erika, 36, a three-year-old daughter, and a one-year-old son.

‘It’s with a heavy heart that we, the Turning Point USA leadership team, write to notify you that early this afternoon, Charlie went to his eternal reward with Jesus Christ in Heaven,’ the nonprofit organization said in a statement on Wednesday.

Disturbing footage recorded at the school’s Sorensen Center courtyard and circulated online shows him speaking into a microphone before a shot rings out, puncturing him in the neck.

Candace Cameron Bure, an outspoken conservative and Christian, was one of the first celebrities to pay tribute to Kirk.

When reports noted he was in critical condition, she took to Instagram to share a photo of him with the call-to-action ‘pray for Charlie.’

The actress captioned the image, ‘Jesus, we need a miracle for Charlie. Heal him ✝️ Lord.’

But within an hour, after he was reported deceased, she posted a second photo with the message, ‘We love you Charlie. Well done, good and faithful servant.’

Her caption was a string of three broken heart emojis.

President Donald Trump spoke out shortly after the horrifying tragedy, sharing a message via the White House’s X account.

He wrote, ‘The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.’

Trump continued: ‘He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!’

Other famous figures also used social media to share remarks.

Chris Pratt wrote on X that he was ‘praying for Charlie Kirk right now, for his wife and young children, for our country.’

The actor added, ‘We need God’s grace. God help us.’

Mandy Moore weighed in, ‘There is no room for political violence in the discourse. Ever. You can disagree with someone’s beliefs but this is a terrifying consequence of the world we’re living in and it’s a cancer.

‘I can’t stop thinking about Charlie’s wife and their small kids. My heart is with them and all who loved him.’
