Tim Cowlishaw isn’t letting “Around the Horn” go down without throwing a little shade.

A well-known columnist from The Dallas Morning News and a regular guest on ESPN expressed his disappointment on social media about the conclusion of the network’s longest-running debate program.

“It was a nice run,” Cowlishaw wrote on X. “Enjoy that 5 o’clock Sports Center.”

Cowlishaw’s comment comes one day after ESPN confirmed the final episode of the show would air on May 23.

The outlet added that a 30-minute edition of “SportsCenter” would take its place until it finds a permanent replacement.

The Post’s former media reporter Ryan Glasspiegel reported in November that the show’s end was nearing.

David Roberts, ESPN’s executive vice president and executive editor of sports news and entertainment, highlighted the remarkable longevity of “Around the Horn” which spanned more than two decades. In a statement released on Tuesday, he mentioned how rare such a feat is within the media industry and announced plans to commemorate the show’s achievements leading up to its final episode in May.

In addition to acknowledging the host Tony [Reali] and the group of on-air contributors, recognition was also given to the production team helmed by Erik Rydholm and Aaron Solomon. Their leadership has played a crucial role in the consistent success of ATH since its inception.

“Around the Horn” has been on ESPN’s airwaves since 2002, running more than 4,900 shows.

Cowlishaw’s 2,100 appearances on “Around the Horn” are the second most in the show’s history, trailing only Woody Paige’s 2,955.

He appeared alongside Paige, Bob Ryan and Jay Mariotti in the show’s first-ever episode on Nov. 4, 2002.
