Tom Hanks proudly displayed his chest hair in a photo taken by the Mediterranean Sea, which he posted on Wednesday to celebrate his 37th wedding anniversary with Rita Wilson, his second wife.

The 68-year-old movie star – who boasts 9.3M Instagram followers – captioned the post: ’37 years married. Today! Love you, Mrs. – Mr. T Hanks.’

The 68-year-old actress-singer also posted an Instagram tribute to ‘my love’ but they were wearing a lot more clothes in her grassy, bundled snap.

As for the secret to their lasting marriage, Tom told E! News last year: ‘Finding each other! How about that.’

And Rita (born Margarita Ibrahimoff) gushed to CBS Mornings in 2023: ‘We do have fun. You’ve gotta have fun!’

At the time Hanks first encountered Wilson, he was still married to his then-wife Samantha Lewes. Their paths crossed when Wilson made a guest appearance on an episode of Hanks’ television show Bosom Buddies, an ABC sitcom where he portrayed a character who cross-dresses, in 1981.

On April 21, Hanks revealed he was officially back in the ‘Studio B’ voiceover booth to reprise his role as Woody in Pixar Animation’s fifth Toy Story film.
