Tori Spelling found herself in a distressing incident this past Thursday in Temecula, California. The actress, aged 52, was involved in a car accident while some of her children were passengers in the vehicle.
According to reports from TMZ, Spelling was driving an SUV when another car reportedly struck her vehicle at a high speed. The collision prompted a swift response from law enforcement.
Police were dispatched to the scene shortly before 6 PM in Temecula, a city located approximately 85 miles east of Los Angeles. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two vehicles, both exhibiting significant damage from the crash.
Images circulating online, although unverified, depict a car with extensive damage to its front, and an SUV missing parts of its bumper, lights, and undercarriage, providing a stark visual of the collision’s severity.

Sources told TMZ that Spelling had been driving with seven kids in the car – four of her own and three others that were friends of her kids.Â

Their car was then hit by another vehicle that allegedly ran a red light while also speeding down the road.Â
Occupants of the vehicles were evaluated at the scene of the collision and no arrests were made at the time, according to reports.
Spelling, her four children as well as their friends were taken to the hospital in three ambulances, TMZ reported.Â
They were subsequently treated for injuries such as cuts, contusions and concussions.Â
Eyewitnesses took a video of the scene as Spelling communicated with officers – which was obtained by TMZ.Â
She could be seen animatedly moving her arms around as she seemingly described what allegedly occurred during the accident.Â
The eyewitnesses told the outlet that the actress did not appear angry as she spoke to others at the scene.Â
An investigation is still underway in regards to the car collision which took place on Thursday.Â
Daily Mail has reached out to a rep for Spelling for comment, but did not immediately hear back.Â

Back in 2011, Spelling had also been involved in a car accident with two of her children.Â
She had uploaded a tweet which read: ‘Paparazzi chased me w/the kids 2school. I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school.’Â
The star – who was pregnant at the time – added that other moms helped her by ‘chasing him away.’Â

The former couple married in 2006 but announced their split in 2023. Their divorce was finalized two years later in November 2025.Â
