() TikTok influencer Caitlin Doran and her tortoise Tiptoe are safe from the Los Angeles Palisades fire, but Doran lost her childhood home in the blaze. 

Five generations of Doran’s family have lived in the Palisades, but they all lost their homes and businesses to the wildfire. Doran is known by 4.5 million followers on TikTok for chronicling the life of her 175 pound pet tortoise. Doran, Tiptoe and the rest of their family have all safely reunited near Marina del Rey.

She encourages others to “leave before you have to.”

“I wish we would have packed more,” Doran said during an appearance on “Banfield.” It’s a loss to my childhood home. But my mom lost the home that she raised a family in,” Doran said. “It’s horrible.”

The death toll from the wildfires has risen to five, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Officials have said more than 100,000 people are under evacuation orders because of all the fires.
