An influential Christian figure has launched a sharp critique against Candace Owens, following her controversial theories regarding the assassination of the late TPUSA founder.

Allie Beth Stuckey, recently highlighted by the Wall Street Journal as a potential successor to Kirk, stirred significant attention when she criticized Owens on her widely-followed online program, Relatable, this past Wednesday.

“I hadn’t planned on addressing Candace publicly, but her claims genuinely hurt me,” Stuckey shared on X. “She accused me of being indifferent to Charlie’s killer simply because I voiced concern for those implicated in her series on his murder.”

Stuckey emphasized her deep care for how Christians pursue truth, stating, “Above all, I am committed to how Christians seek truth.”

She further remarked, “Simply ‘asking questions’ does not excuse slander. The God who made us and observes our words has much to say about our speech and intentions.”

Unlike Owens, Stuckey has been asked to fill Kirk’s shoes at stops on his college tour, and has also been a guest on the Charlie Kirk Show after his death.

Owens’ most recent claims spurred Stuckey’s response, in particular what she believes is the targeting of Erika Kirk. Owens has stopped short of directly accusing Kirk’s widow. 

‘I’m not saying Candace said ‘Erika did it’ – but when you say ‘everyone around Charlie betrayed him’ and ‘Turning Point is covering it up” Erika is the CEO. People are drawing the conclusion that the widow is in on it,’ Stuckey said.

Candace Owens claims she is ‘just asking questions’

Other conservatives praised Stuckey for speaking out against Owens’ recent tirades. 

David Limbaugh, brother of the now-deceased conservative media titan Rush Limbaugh, wrote on X that he was sending ‘Kudos and respect to Allie Beth Stuckey for her courage and telling the truth in love, modeling Christian behavior.’

He added that, ‘especially lately, she has been among those who are the tip of the spear.’

Josh Hammer, who has been one of Kirk’s friends most directly targeted by Owens, thanked Stuckey for her ‘courage and conviction’ in addressing Owens directly.

Political commentator Erielle Azerrad praised Stuckey as well, adding that her condemnation was something that Megyn Kelly ‘was too much of a moral coward to do.’

Owens told the Daily Mail in a statement: ‘I am pointing out glaring inconsistencies and outright lies that we have been told regarding Charlie’s assassination.’

She branded Stuckey a ‘committed Zionist’ who uses ’emotionally manipulative tactics’ to stop her audience from asking questions.

She concluded by writing, ‘Bullets that are designed to take down a moose are not magically stopped by human necks.’

The bullet that killed Kirk came from a .30-06 caliber rifle, a powerful and commonly used hunting rifle caliber capable of deep penetration and lethality. The bullet was found lodged inside his neck, which Owens claims is suspicious.

Kirk was shot dead on September 10 while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. Tyler Robinson, 22, a left-wing college dropout, has been charged with his assassination.

Kirk’s widow, Erika, joined President Donald Trump at the White House last month to accept the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously on her husband’s behalf.

Kirk had built Turning Point USA into one of the most influential conservative youth organizations in America, known for its campus activism and annual conferences that drew thousands of young conservatives.

After his death, Erika publicly delivered a statement vowing to carry on his work as the new CEO of the organization.

Trump memorably eulogized Kirk at his memorial service days later and comforted Erika who mourned the loss of her husband.

‘We know the weight of this monumental loss is almost unbearable,’ he said.

‘But even in the midst of heartache and pain too great to even fathom, you have somehow found the strength and deep faith to be a comfort to millions and millions of people.’

More than 60,000 people attended the service which was held at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals NFL team.
