() The bodies of two brothers who went missing in Lake Erie have been found, authorities confirmed.
First responders found their bodies in separate locations Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET.
The brothers Trent Sanchez, 19, and Austin Labbe, 22 were swept away by a riptide while swimming at the beach Sunday, Aug. 17, according to family members.
The search for the brothers lasted a few days and included aid from the U.S. Coast Guard, the local fire department, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Cleveland Metroparks Police dive team and more.
Two hours before the brothers were swept away, Jeffery L. Williams, 64, was fishing at a nearby pier when he suffered a medical emergency and fell into the water.
His body was found and pulled from the water Tuesday, Aug. 19.
The National Weather Service issued a beach hazard statement for Lake Erie, letting people know they should avoid the water amid dangerous riptide conditions.
