In Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, the local Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating a man’s death, which they suspect involves foul play, and they are currently on the lookout for a person of interest.

Cpt. Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit reported that county deputies were dispatched around 1 a.m. on Monday. They responded to a call reporting a suspicious incident near Old Fayette Road, close to its junction with Highway 43 North. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the body of a deceased man at an abandoned property.

Following a thorough preliminary investigation, the Violent Crimes Unit determined that the circumstances surrounding the man’s death suggested foul play. Consequently, law enforcement officials dedicated much of Monday to meticulously examining the scene and canvassing the surrounding area for additional evidence.
