The digital world mourns the loss of Isaac Efraín Valadez, better known to his followers as Chakin Valadez, a beloved Mexican content creator who has tragically passed away at the age of 44.

According to El Heraldo de México, Valadez was discovered on January 10, having suffered from fatal gunshot injuries.

Authorities in Ensenada, Mexico, responded to a call regarding a shooting incident. They found Valadez in his truck shortly before 7 a.m.

At the scene, he was declared dead.

Reports indicate that at least seven bullets were fired, yet no suspects have been apprehended so far.

Valadez, a package delivery driver, had a following of over 164,000 people on Facebook, and was known for documenting his travels throughout Mexico. 

Hauntingly, Valadez shared a video to social media just hours before his untimely death, posting a clip of his drive to the town of Cataviña and commenting on the strong winds.

‘The drive was challenging with strong winds throughout the entire area from Chapala to Cataviña, Baja California. The wind was quite strong, heavenly Father,’ the translated post read.

He also shared a cryptic post to Facebook, calling the trip ‘the last one.’

‘But we gonna enjoy it like it’s the first of the year,’ the post continued in Spanish.

‘Nothing is as real as the speed that persists when looking or feeling through the windows of the soul.’

According to the Baja California Post, Vaadez was from Baja California Sur, and the incident occurred in the San Borja neighborhood.

He was married with three daughters, as per his Facebook profile.

An outpouring of messages has flooded social media following the influencer’s death, with fans taking to Facebook to share their condolences. 

‘Rest in peace. Beautiful videos that not everyone is going to watch as they will miss you,’ one fan wrote.

‘It was a pleasure to have known him through his videos,’ commented another.
