In a tragic incident in Connecticut early Sunday, gunfire claimed the life of one individual and left four others injured, with one person in critical condition.
The Hartford police responded to a shooting report at approximately 1:40 a.m., arriving at the scene to find a gathering of about 100 people and one person lying unresponsive, according to local station WTNH.
Sadly, the victim was declared dead at the scene and identity confirmation is still pending.
Among the injured, a man in his 30s is critically injured but stable. Meanwhile, two other men, in their 20s and 30s, and an adult woman are reported to be in stable condition.
Police currently suspect that the shooting involved a single firearm.
