The crash resulted in injuries to two children traveling in the SUV, as reported by fire officials. One child, in serious condition, was airlifted to a Level I trauma center, while the other, with minor injuries, was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

According to reports, one of the children was thrown from their car seat during the crash.
