BERKELEY, Mo. – One man is dead following an altercation with an Amazon co-worker Sunday night, according to police.
The Berkeley Police Department stated that officers were called to the Amazon warehouse at 8850 Springdale Ave. around 8 p.m. Sunday for a stabbing.
Upon arrival, they located 31-year-old Kenneth Anderson-Lane, who was stabbed once following an “altercation with a co-worker,” the release noted.
Anderson-Lane succumbed to his injury at the hospital.
41-year-old Patrick Thrower was taken into custody at the scene. He is charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of armed criminal action.
According to court documents, surveillance footage shows Thrower holding the knife. Additionally, he admitted to having the same knife used in the incident.
