In a tragic incident on Long Island, a devoted mother of four, who also served as a respected educator, lost her life after her SUV crashed into a backyard swimming pool.
Allison Rahmani, aged 40, was the driver of the vehicle that veered out of control and submerged in the swimming pool at her residence in Hewlett, located in Nassau County. The unfortunate incident took place on a Friday, as reported by JNS.
Remarkably, Rahmani managed to make a distress call for assistance. Sadly, she passed away while being transported by ambulance to the hospital, according to a family acquaintance speaking with JNS.

As a beloved educator, Rahmani held the dual role of teacher and math coordinator at the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway. Her husband, Matthew, is actively involved in the community as the president of the Irving Place Minyan Modern Orthodox synagogue in nearby Woodmere.

“Always a smile, a friendly chat. Baruch dayan ha’emet [Blessed is the true judge], & condolences to her family,” added another.
“She was a LIGHT that shined from the minute she walked in til the minute she left. Always appreciative and kind to us all. She will be missed,” wrote a third.
