In Birmingham, Alabama, the tragic death of a 55-year-old man is under investigation by the local police department. Harold King, a resident of Birmingham, was fatally shot early Saturday morning in an incident that took place in the 5400 block of Jefferson Avenue SW. Authorities responded to the scene and confirmed that King had succumbed to his injuries from the gunshot wound. The Birmingham Police Department is treating the case as a homicide.
