In a tragic incident at a Newark, New Jersey recording studio on Wednesday night, two individuals lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in a shooting, as reported by local news outlets.

Witnesses described how the usual music emanating from Platinum Sound studio was abruptly replaced by the sound of gunfire, according to ABC7.

Authorities confirmed that one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, while another succumbed to his injuries later at the hospital, as shared by law enforcement sources with the station.

The shooting also left two other men injured. They were transported to the hospital, where they are currently in stable condition, according to reports.

Authorities have yet to release the names of the victims involved in the incident.

Newark police and detectives swarmed the area surrounding the recording studio on Clinton Avenue into late Wednesday night.

No arrests have been confirmed, and it is unclear how many gunmen carried out the shooting, the outlet said.

A preliminary investigation by Newark police found that the shooting was likely a hit on an individual, according to the station.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and Newark Police did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

The shooting remains under investigation.
