2 killed, multiple injured in Texas casino shooting

EAGLE PASS, Texas () Authorities report that an early morning shooting at a Texas casino on Sunday resulted in two fatalities and several injuries.

The shooter, identified as 34-year-old Keryan Jones, allegedly opened fire at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino located in the border town of Eagle Pass.

Following the incident, law enforcement detained Jones after a chase, during which officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety discharged their weapons. Fortunately, no officers sustained injuries in the confrontation.
