In Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood, a shooting at a Jewel grocery store left three individuals injured on Tuesday morning, according to local police reports.
Authorities stated that just before 11 a.m., two suspects entered the Jewel located in the Lake Meadows Shopping Center on the 400 block of East 34th Street and allegedly stole merchandise.

As the suspects attempted to exit, a 46-year-old man confronted them, leading to an escalation, police revealed.
In response, one of the suspects discharged a firearm, striking the man and wounding two additional bystanders, the Chicago Police Department confirmed.

The 46-year-old was shot, and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.
A 29-year-old woman was shot in the foot, and taken to UChicago, where she remains stable.
A 67-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to the foot. She declined medical treatment.
No one is in custody; Chicago police are investigating.
Chopper 7 was over the scene about 11:45 a.m.
Several Chicago police squad cars could be seen. There was also crime scene tape blocking the entrance.
