A well-known trans activist has stirred a discussion by proposing a gender-neutral Olympics, suggesting that both Olympic and Paralympic athletes should be able to compete together. This suggestion has stirred diverse reactions and perspectives on sports inclusivity and fairness.

The activist, Blossom Brown, engaged in a debate on Piers Morgan Uncensored with Riley Gaines, a former collegiate swimmer and anti-trans activist. Brown advocated for removing gender divisions in the Olympic games, a proposition that was met with skepticism and resistance by Morgan, who called it “completely insane.”

The idea of eliminating gender distinctions in sports raised challenging questions, prompting Gaines to inquire whether Brown would extend her advocacy for inclusivity to merging the Paralympics, an event for athletes with various physical disabilities, with the traditional Olympics that feature able-bodied athletes. This discourse sheds light on the complexity of creating more inclusive and equitable sporting platforms.

“I mean, why not?” Brown responded.

Gaines grabbed her head with her hands in disbelief.

Brown, a prominent trans activist on TikTok and co-host of the Trans Parency Podcast, had earlier said she “doesn’t see anything wrong” with combining sexes in the upcoming 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

“This country was built on diversity, equity and inclusion,” she claimed.

“Congratulations, you excluded all women from winning medals. Well done,” Morgan snapped back, sardonically clapping.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order earlier this month barring biological males from competing in women’s sports through Title IX. The NCAA banned transgender women from women’s sports the following day.

Per the mandate, the Department of Homeland Security was directed to deny visas “made by men attempting to fraudulently enter the United States while identifying themselves as women athletes,” according to Trump — who will still be in office for the LA Olympics.

Brown at one point questioned why the president, who she called a “moron,” has decided to focus so much of his energy on trans people rather than other pressing issues like the economy.

“Because he’s up against complete lunatics like you who think it would be right to have a gender neutral olympics,” Morgan ranted.

“A gender-neutral Olympics is the most insane thing I’ve ever heard from any trans activist in history,” he added.
