U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is set to hold a press conference on Friday to discuss rising concerns about potential flight disruptions due to the ongoing government shutdown.

The event will be held at Philadelphia International Airport. Earlier in the week, Duffy indicated that the shutdown could cause issues, highlighting that the federal safety system relies heavily on air traffic controllers, who are currently working without pay as they are deemed essential workers.
