Travis Kelce bought a waterfront Ohio mansion for $5.35 million in March, securing the Lake Erie estate months before marrying Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden in July.
The newly renovated Bratenahl property had first hit the market with a $5.99 million asking price, and the sale officially closed on March 2, according to listing records reviewed by the Wall Street Journal.
Dating back to 1895, the expansive 21,140-square-foot compound sits on 3.5 acres of lakefront land and includes eight bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, three half baths and a five-car garage.
For Kelce, a Cuyahoga County native who grew up only a short drive away in Cleveland Heights, the location carries a personal connection. Its proximity to a private airstrip may also prove practical for a high-profile couple managing a real estate portfolio that has already grown into the double digits.
Swift entered the marriage with an impressive property collection of her own, including a Manhattan condo and homes in Rhode Island, Nashville and California, while Kelce already owned a residence in Kansas City.

David Ayers, who brokered the deal alongside Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland, said the Gilded Age property blends old world charm with a serious glow-up.
“Meticulously restored original details paired with its exceptional modern amenities has created a truly rare Great Lakes estate,” Ayers told The Post in a statement. “We’re thrilled for the new owners and so excited for Cleveland.”
The mansion buy wasn’t the only headline out of Kelce’s world this week. He and Swift also introduced the world to their new Samoyed puppy Wendy, who made her modeling debut in a Tommy Hilfiger campaign shoot on the roof of the Plaza Hotel.
Kelce told Vogue the brand needed a dog for the shoot and he didn’t hesitate to volunteer his own.
“We figured, why not her? She crushed it and actually really fit into that Tommy aesthetic, too,” he said. “Those are some of my favorite shots.”
Of his new pup, he added simply, “She lights up my day.”
