Kayla Nicole, the former girlfriend of NFL star Travis Kelce, has seemingly deactivated her X account following backlash over alleged homophobic and racist remarks.
Previously recognized under the handle @iamkaylanicole, her profile on the platform now states, “This account doesn’t exist,” as confirmed at the time of this report.
This development comes after a detailed thread surfaced on Wednesday, presenting a series of purported evidence highlighting the influencer’s controversial behavior, dating as far back as the early 2010s.
Among the screenshots, one attributed to Nicole allegedly read: “I can hear this Indian girl praying/chanting through the walls. She got 5 mo[sic] minutes n Imma let her know that buddah isn’t real. smh.”
Attempts to reach Nicole for comment were not immediately successful, as her representative did not respond to requests from Page Six.
The update comes shortly after it was recently believed Nicole shaded Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, with her Halloween costume.
The model took to Instagram where she revealed she dressed as Toni Braxton for the holiday with a special recreation of the singer’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough” music video.
“She’s an icon. She’s a legend. She’s @tonibraxton circa 2000,” Nicole captioned the clip.
The 34-year-old later insisted to her “Pre-Game” podcast listeners last Saturday that she dressed as the R&B star because of a “very specific” childhood memory involving a friend also named Taylor.
“I had a white best friend. Her name was Taylor,” Nicole recalled. “And she [had] the only house I could go over to as a kid because my mom didn’t play them type of games.”
“I specifically remember driving home from private school in my uniform in the back of a paddy wagon with Taylor, and her mom was playing this song,” she added.
Earlier that month, Swift, 35, seemingly made a dig about Kelce’s influencer ex in her song, “Opalite,” which is said to be about her beau, 36, and is featured on her “The Life of a Showgirl” album.
Swift appeared to reference Nicole in her lyrics that read, “You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”
The line implied that the “Pre-Game with Kayla Nicole” podcast host was with Kelce, 36, for clout.
