() As China flexed its military muscles and showed off its cozy relations with North Korea and Russia, President Donald Trump accused them of conspiring against the United States.

Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted Russia’s Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un this week for a parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of Japan’s surrender in World War II.

“May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration. Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America,” Trump wrote on social media.

Trump also referenced American involvement in WWII, adding that “the big question” is whether Xi will mention the U.S. forces that helped China to repel Japan.

Xi’s remarks did not mention the U.S. by name, but he expressed gratitude to foreign countries that helped China during Japan’s invasion.

“The Chinese nation is a great nation that does not fear violence, and that stands independent and strong,” Xi said during the event.

World leaders have come together this week to align their interests, including combating Trump’s tariffs and challenging NATO’s might.

On Monday, a 10-nation summit meeting in China brought together Xi, Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Washington has accused those countries of supporting Russia’s war effort. Pyongyang has sent troops and ammunition to Russia, and China and India have purchased Russian oil, indirectly helping Russia’s war economy.

With Putin in China, Kremlin forces continued their bombing campaigns in Ukraine, where officials said Russia fired more than 500 drones and two dozen missiles overnight.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on the West to up its pressure on Russia amid stalled face-to-face peace talks.
