Former President Donald Trump criticized the Super Bowl LX halftime performance led by Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny, labeling it as “one of the worst, EVER” and describing it as disrespectful to American values.

In a detailed post on Truth Social shortly after the event on Sunday night, Trump expressed his disapproval, stating, “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is utterly atrocious, ranking as one of the worst, EVER! It defies logic, disrespects America’s greatness, and falls short of our ideals of Success, Creativity, and Excellence.”

Trump’s discontent centered around Bad Bunny’s music, which is performed entirely in Spanish, and the show’s choreography, which he referred to as “disgusting.”

“No one can understand a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is inappropriate, especially for young viewers across the U.S.A. and around the world. This ‘Show’ is nothing but a ‘slap in the face’ to our Nation,” Trump elaborated.

He further remarked, “There’s no inspiration in this chaotic Halftime Show, and just wait, it will receive glowing reviews from the Fake News Media, who are completely out of touch with what’s happening in the REAL WORLD.”

Bad Bunny’s performance featured a swath of references to the Grammy-award-winning artist’s home, transplanting the island nation’s natural beauty smack in the center of Levi’s Stadium.

During the performance, Bad Bunny trekked through stalks of greenery, flanked by farm workers, before he made his way to the heart of a real-life wedding ceremony.

Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin made cameos during the show. In one brief aside, Bad Bunny handed his Grammy Award to Liam Conejo Ramos — the 5-year-old boy from Minneapolis who was released from ICE custody last week after the photo of his detainment went viral.

At the end of the show, Bad Bunny held up a football that read “Together We Are America.” In the background, a Jumbotron also read “THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE.”

Trump ended his post with one last jab toward the “ridiculous new Kickoff Rule,” which he previously called a core part of “sissy football.”

The rule is intended to protect the athletes against brutal head-on collisions, which are proven to shorten entire careers and lead to debilitating conditions like Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.

Trump previously confirmed that he would be watching Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show, which featured a quartet of country singers and was headlined by Kid Rock. (edited)
