President Trump has arrived in Israel, setting the stage for a historic hostage exchange following his successful negotiation of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which concluded a violent two-year conflict.

Touching down at Ben Gurion Airport, just outside Tel Aviv, Trump disembarked from his plane at approximately 9:43 a.m. local time on Monday, greeted with a ceremonial red-carpet welcome.

Awaiting Trump at the airport were Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, alongside Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, and her husband, Jared Kushner, who were present in anticipation of the president’s visit.

This significant visit coincides with the sight of seven released hostages making their way into Israel, marking a pivotal moment in the peace process.
