Former President Donald Trump paid tribute to Claude Lemieux, the renowned NHL star and four-time Stanley Cup champion, who tragically passed away by suicide.
In a heartfelt post on Truth Social late Thursday, Trump expressed his admiration, saying, “Claude Lemieux, a true legend of the game, and one of the fiercest competitors hockey has ever seen, has passed away.”
Trump highlighted Lemieux’s support for him, noting, “Claude was a friend to the family and a tremendous supporter of our cause.”
