On Friday, President Trump unveiled the newly renovated Lincoln Bathroom in the White House, expressing his disapproval of its former art deco design, which he deemed “inappropriate.”
Taking to Truth Social, Trump stated, “I renovated the Lincoln Bathroom in the White House. It was originally done in the 1940s with an art deco green tile style, which didn’t fit the Lincoln Era at all.”
He further elaborated, “I chose black and white polished Statuary marble for the renovation. This choice aligns with Abraham Lincoln’s time period and might even reflect the original materials used!”
