President Trump announced that he had deployed the military to take action in California. He utilized emergency orders to activate the water supply in the fire-stricken state.

“The United States Military just entered the Great State of California and, under Emergency Powers, TURNED ON THE WATER flowing abundantly from the Pacific Northwest, and beyond,” the 47th president said in a late-night Truth Social post.

“The days of putting a Fake Environmental argument, over the PEOPLE, are OVER. Enjoy the water, California!!!”

The state’s Department Of Water Resources (DWP) later poured cold water on Trump’s claims, maintaining that the “military did not enter California.”

“The federal government restarted federal water pumps after they were offline for maintenance for three days,” the DWP posted on X.

“State water supplies in Southern California remain plentiful.”

It comes after Trump repeatedly accused California Gov. Gavin Newsom and other officials of withholding water supplies as a handful of deadly wildfires turned the Los Angeles area into a raging inferno.
