President Trump’s recent revelation about undergoing an MRI scan is sparking renewed debate over the transparency of his health records and the broader need for presidential health disclosures.
As the oldest individual ever elected to the presidency, Trump has consistently been portrayed by his aides and supporters as embodying robust health and vigor.
Concerns initially emerged from medical professionals outside the administration following Trump’s visit to Walter Reed Military Medical Center earlier this month. The White House described the visit as a routine follow-up, but it marked his second visit in the span of six months.
Despite these visits, a statement from Trump’s physician assured the public that he is in “excellent overall health.”
