President Donald Trump has thrown his full support behind Congressman Randy Fine of Florida, lauding him as a “MAGA Warrior” who has been remarkably effective in representing Florida’s 6th Congressional District. This resounding endorsement comes as the political landscape begins to heat up in anticipation of the 2026 general election cycle.
Elected to serve an area that includes all of Putnam County, parts of St. Johns County, and all of Flagler County, Fine has quickly become a prominent figure within the district. His political journey saw a significant boost in 2025 when he emerged victorious in a special election against Democrat Josh Weil. This win came after Mike Waltz vacated the seat to step into the role of a national security advisor.
Trump’s endorsement, shared on his social media platform, Truth Social, underscores Fine’s alignment with Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda, highlighting the congressman’s influential role in the current political climate. As the 2026 elections approach, Fine’s campaign anticipates leveraging this high-profile backing to solidify his position and continue advocating for his constituents.
In 2025, Fine defeated Josh Weil (D) in a special election to replace Mike Waltz, who became a national security advisor.

In an official statement from Fine’s office, he describes the President’s endorsement as a way to “consolidate support among grassroots activists who remain loyal to the President and his agenda.”
“I am honored to receive President Trump’s endorsement,” Fine states. “This isn’t about me though, it’s about the movement the President ignited and the agenda we share to keep Florida strong, secure, and free.”
