In a decisive military action on December 31, the U.S. Southern Command reported the elimination of five individuals linked to terrorist organizations during a kinetic strike. This operation targeted two vessels involved in narcotics trafficking, marking another step in the ongoing battle against drug-related terrorism.

According to official statements, intelligence had pinpointed these vessels as actively engaged in drug trafficking activities along well-known smuggling routes. This information guided the operation, which resulted in the neutralization of five individuals classified as narco-terrorists. The strike saw three individuals eliminated on the first vessel and two on the second.

The operation falls under the umbrella of Operation Southern Spear, a broader initiative by the Department of War aimed at disrupting the nexus between narcotics trafficking and terrorism. This latest strike underscores the U.S. military’s commitment to targeting and dismantling such threats.
