Unmasking Wealth Myths: Zohran Mamdani Challenges Glenn Beck’s Narrative!

The co-founder of Blaze Media, Glenn Beck, has criticized Zohran Mamdani’s recent comments about wealth, suggesting that they carry a misleading undertone.

During an interview with Batya Ungar-Sargon on Saturday, Beck remarked, “You’re receiving funding from influential figures like George Soros and Bill Gates, as well as the Tides Foundation. It’s hypocritical to criticize the wealthy when they are the ones backing your campaign and influencing your life. I find this deeply objectionable.”

Just days ago, Mamdani achieved a significant political victory by defeating former Governor Andrew Cuomo and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa in the New York City mayoral election.

Mamdani’s campaign focused heavily on addressing the issue of affordability in a city notorious for its high cost of living. This theme became a defining element of his campaign, emphasizing his commitment to making New York City more accessible to its residents.

Beck believes that a lot of Mamdani’s words harken back to “Teddy Roosevelt’s hyphen-American speech.” Roosevelt, a former president, used the narrative as a way to insult Americans who had divided political or national loyalties.

“Every time a politician starts dividing us into class and into hyphen-Americans, you’re planting the seeds of our own destruction,” Beck added about Mamdani.

Mamdani’s desire to globalize infitada a warning sign: Beck

Beck acknowledged while he believes Mamdani is a committed Marxist, his desire to “globalize the infitada” could become worrisome.

“He doesn’t really have a bad thing to say about Hamas, that’s another bad sign,” said Beck. “That’s not Islam, that’s an Islamist who goes to that space. And a very, very dangerous one.”

“Unfortunately, he’s not the only one. We’re seeing it happen, and they are all coming in sheep’s clothing all over the West. If we don’t pay attention, we’re in trouble.”
