Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin recently addressed questions regarding former President Donald Trump’s lack of an official endorsement for Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, the Republican candidate in the state’s gubernatorial race. Despite Trump’s absence from openly supporting Earle-Sears, Youngkin highlighted Trump’s previous favorable remarks about her.
On Thursday, Trump participated in a tele-rally with the aim of mobilizing voters for the upcoming Election Day on November 4th. Notably, Earle-Sears and other Republican candidates on the ballot did not join the call, sparking curiosity and speculation about the dynamics within the party.
As the election approaches, polls indicate a challenging path for Earle-Sears, who is currently trailing behind her Democratic rival, Abigail Spanberger. This has raised concerns among Republicans about their prospects in the Virginia gubernatorial race.
