Reporters noticed new plaques installed on the “Presidential Walk of Fame” along the West Wing Colonnade at the White House on Wednesday. These latest additions feature President Trump’s pointed remarks about recent former presidents.
The plaque for former President Biden labels him as “Sleepy Joe Biden” and criticizes him as “the worst president in American history.” Meanwhile, former President Obama’s plaque refers to him as “Barack Hussein Obama” and accuses him of being “one of the most divisive political figures in American history.”
Former President Clinton’s plaque highlights the 2016 presidential election, stating, “In 2016, President Clinton’s wife, Hillary Clinton, lost the Presidency to President Donald J. Trump!”
The “Presidential Walk of Fame” was first introduced in September, located just outside the Oval Office.
This exhibition features portraits of every past U.S. president, noticeably excluding Biden. Instead of his portrait, there is a framed photo of an “autopen” signing Biden’s signature.
The walk of fame additions are the of Trump remaking the White House in his image. He has replaced the Rose Garden grass with a stone patio, and he has directed construction of a White House ballroom that has demolished most of the East Wing.
