WASHINGTON — Approximately 18,700 pieces of Julie and Judah pajama bottoms have been recalled, announced on Thursday, due to a “risk of burn injuries to children,” according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The CPSC highlighted that these pajama pants and shorts fail to meet the essential flammability standards set for children’s sleepwear. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries related to this issue, the recall notice mentioned.
These sleepwear items were available for purchase nationwide and online at sites like julieandjudahaccessories.com and marcusadlerny.com from March 2023 through May 2025, with prices ranging from $16 to $36.
The recalled items feature a variety of prints, such as fuzzy heart, gummy bear, star multi, candy, graffiti, sprinkle, smiley flower, shooting star, ribbon, cloud, and more. For a complete list of affected designs, visit the official recall page.
Pants were sold in small, medium and large sizes while the shorts were sold in small and medium sizes. “Julie and Judah” appear on the main label sewn into the pants and shorts, the recall said.
Customers are asked to stop using the pajama bottoms and contact Marcus Adler Glove for a refund. The recall urges people to destroy the bottoms and mark them with the work “recall.”
Consumers will be asked to email a photo of the destroyed garment to info@julieandjudahaccessories.com and can throw the recalled pants away once they get their refund.
