A crew comprising both American and Russian astronauts successfully returned from the International Space Station, touching down in Kazakhstan’s steppes on Sunday after spending eight months in orbit.
NASA astronaut Chris Williams, along with Russian colleagues Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev, made their descent in the Soyuz MS-28. The spacecraft landed smoothly under parachute in a designated zone southeast of Dzhezkazgan.
During their 241-day mission, both Williams and Mikaev experienced their inaugural journey into space, while Kud-Sverchkov marked his second venture beyond Earth.
