A disturbing incident unfolded in Davis County, Utah, where a man was taken into custody for reportedly tossing six puppies out of a car window while driving along U.S. Highway 89. Sadly, two of the pups did not survive, and their mother was left behind.
The individual in question, 25-year-old Memphis Lor, faces arrest on seven charges of animal cruelty, classified as a third-degree felony. As of now, formal charges have yet to be filed against him.
The Davis County Sheriff’s Office detailed that on October 22, Lor was traveling on US-89 between Fruit Heights and Layton. During his drive, he allegedly flung six puppies, each just three weeks old, out of his car window while maintaining highway speed.
