Vanna White doesn't get why son Nikko is called a 'thirst trap'

Vanna White’s wheels were spinning when it came to this phrase.

White posted a video featuring her 30-year-old son, Nikko, in December. The online community referred to White’s son as a “thirst trap,” a term unfamiliar to the 67-year-old “Wheel of Fortune” co-host.

“I recently posted a video of me and my son, Nikko, cooking and it got a lot of response,” White told host Ryan Seacrest on the Thursday’s episode of the game show.

“I don’t get,” she added.

Luckily, Seacrest stepped in to help White out.

“The kids are calling Nikko a thirst trap,” Seacrest, 50, explained. “Apparently, that was a very tight [top]. He went to the Baby Gap to buy that shirt. It was very tight and they found him strikingly good-looking and no one knows what you cooked.”

Although White was slightly puzzled about her son being dubbed a “thirst trap,” she did enjoy their time in the kitchen together.

“We cooked Uncle Roy’s Chicken,” she shared.

Seacrest thanked Uncle Roy for the recipe and Nikko “for that tight shirt.”

“I’m going to post another video today,” White said before doing just that.

Late that day, the mom of two, who also shares daughter Gigi, 27, with ex-husband George Santo Pietro, shared footage of the mother-son duo cooking parsnip soup.

“We’re back with another recipe,” White captioned her Instagram video. “Whether you’re a parsnip lover or have never tried them before, we have the perfect soup for you to make at home!”

Nikko replied, “Can’t go wrong with a simple dish.”

Fans flocked to the comments section once more to give their stamp of approval.

“Love seeing the two of you!!!!” one follower wrote while a second user chimed in, “The two best chefs.”

Nikko, meanwhile, called the attention “flattering” back in December.

“Obviously I had an outpour from her fans just really being kind and saying all kinds of interesting stuff in the comments,” the real estate agent told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I’ve always loved being in front of the camera, and I work really hard on my social media that’s a big part of what I do, so it feels natural and good.”

However, Nikko isn’t letting all the online chatter go to his head.

“People see me as this heartthrob and they’re thirsty for me and all this stuff,” he explained. “I love it all, but at the same time, it’s really good to remember the meaningful things in life and just kind of dial it back, doing a lot of charity work, working hard every day.”

“That’s what it is to me,” Nikko added. “Making an impact.”
