Video: Greenwich Village ‘Tiger’ Knocks Man Out, Then Helps Him Up

This Tiger certainly showed his claws.

A homeless man known on Bleecker Street as Tiger was captured on video attacking another man near his encampment before unexpectedly helping him back to his feet.

The disturbing footage, posted to social media Oct. 17, shows Tiger — whose real name is Noel-Teru Gibson, 44 — getting into a physical altercation with an unidentified man outside The Red Lion bar.

In the video, Gibson, who wears a tail, appears to follow the man across the street before stepping directly in front of him and blocking his path with his arms folded.

The unidentified man then forcefully shoves Gibson in the back.

Gibson responds by swinging from behind, striking the man several times on the side of the head and face. He then throws him to the pavement, where the man’s head appears to hit a scaffolding pole.

The video appears to show Gibson searching the unconscious man’s pockets and removing what looks like an identification badge and a cellphone.

He then oddly returns the belongings, pats the man on the shoulder and attempts to lift him and pull him away from the roadway.

Later in the footage, the man is seen walking without assistance, though a bruise appears to be forming along the right side of his jaw.

The NYPD said it had no record of Gibson being arrested in connection with the Oct. 17 incident.

Gibson was arrested two days earlier, on Oct. 14, after allegedly dancing and gyrating while nude on Bleecker Street, according to the NYPD.

Video of that arrest, obtained by The Post, shows Gibson wearing only underwear and his trademark tail while arguing with two police officers.

Police said he was charged with public lewdness and harassment over the incident.

Residents of Greenwich Village have previously told The Post that Gibson’s behavior in the neighborhood has become increasingly volatile. One father, who spoke anonymously, alleged that Gibson chased his son earlier this year and said his young daughter encountered him naked on the street while walking to school.
