() New footage has emerged of Celeste Rivas Hernandez that rewrites the timeline of the case as we’ve come to know it.

Video was recorded at the home of Celeste’s parents in Lake Elsinore, California, precisely a year before her body was found in the trunk of a car belonging to the rising music star named “D4vd.”

Video disputes known timeline

The public had been told that Celeste, 15, went missing in April 2024 and that her family hadn’t seen her since, but new video obtained by TMZ was recorded by a nest camera Sept. 8, 2024, four months after she reportedly ran away.

Neighbors who provided the video to the outlet say that it shows her arguing with people who ostensibly had pulled a prank on her. Celeste was seen yelling and swearing at individuals she believed to have played a prank on her parents’ home.

By the dates themselves, the video seems to prove that Celeste visited her family at least once after she ran away for the last time.

Cause of death to be determined

D4vd, whose legal name is David Burke, has not been arrested, nor has he been named a suspect. It has been reported he had a romantic relationship with the teenage girl.

The medical examiner has deferred a cause of death while the toxicology results are awaited, but they have determined Hernandez was not pregnant when she died.

In a statement to , the LAPD captain overseeing the investigation said “it remains unclear whether there is any criminal culpability beyond the concealment of her body.”
