Cam Skattebo found himself dealing with the same pregame traffic as everyone else on Sunday night.
Ahead of the Giants’ 28-20 “Sunday Night Football” win over the Cowboys, the star running back was spotted driving his lifted Ford pickup toward the stadium while caught in traffic alongside fans.
“Go Skattebo,” fans shouted from a nearby car as he responded with a hand gesture. “Go over them.”
Skattebo then rose above his seat and shouted toward the vehicles in front of him, yelling, “Let’s go!” at the surrounding traffic.
“Let me in. I’m the running back,” Skattebo could be heard yelling, according to TMZ.
The Giants’ standout running back appeared to arrive around 5:50 p.m., at roughly the same time tailgating fans were making their way in. It was unclear whether he was running late, though his arrival came about 2 1/2 hours before kickoff.
For the occasion, Skattebo wore Jaxson Dart’s high school jersey.

The Giants quarterback attended Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah.
Skattebo quickly made his presence felt once the game began, scoring the opening touchdown on a wide-open goal-line counter.
His score gave the Giants a 7-0 lead, and Skattebo followed it with his trademark backflip combination. He nearly came down on the pylon, a landing that could easily have resulted in an injury.
Skattebo finished with 81 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown, though he wasn’t targeted in the passing game.
Devin Singletary appears to have carved out a decent role, with six carries for 16 yards and four catches for 22 yards and a touchdown in a bizarre series of plays where the Giants appeared to run the same play consecutively for a score.
