HOUSTON (KIAH) A collision at a Houston restaurant was caught on camera by two food vloggers, Patrick Blackwood and Nina Santiago, who were hurt when an SUV smashed through the building’s windows.

The pair was recording themselves sampling food at CuVee’s Culinary Creation when the crash happened. The footage, seen below, shows the vloggers scrambling out of their seats as windows break and glass flies onto them. Patrons and staff can also be seen watching in apparent amazement.

The incident, which took place at the popular dining establishment, led to the vloggers reporting only minor injuries.

“I am beyond grateful to be alive,” Santiago wrote on Instagram, where she posts as Nina Unrated. “Out of nowhere, but we survived.”

Both vloggers appeared to have blood on their faces, while Santiago showed multiple photos of apparent injuries on her hands and arms.

Nina and Patrick “had glass everywhere” after the incident, Ivory Watkins, the owner and executive chef at CuVee’s, told local affiliate KIAH. Watkins said he had been speaking to Nina and Patrick just moments before the SUV crashed into his restaurant.

Law enforcement officials have not yet released any details regarding the driver involved or the specific circumstances that led to the crash.
