A DoorDash driver was caught on camera hurling racist slurs at a customer while dropping off an order in North Carolina last week.
In the Ring doorbell footage, the worker was caught dropping off a bag of food outside a front door before squatting down by the stairs and saying ‘Here’s your s***, n*****. Come get it.’
The unnamed driver then adds, ‘here n*****, n*****, n*****. This is so fun’ before yelling ‘f*** you,’ at the door as she stands up and walks away down the stairs.
The incident occurred at 3.27pm on October 24 in Durham, North Carolina.

The customer shared the video online and tagged DoorDash
Sharing the footage, TikTok user ‘adoree.brincess’ captioned it: ‘Experiencing a racist Door Dasher.
‘Mind y’all I never spoke with her, never seen her, or anything!’
She added: ‘@DoorDash this was definitely the most heartbreaking and worst experience I ever experienced with dealing with DoorDash and Lil Melanie count ya days.’
The video went viral and quickly racked up 52,600 likes.

TikTok users rushed to Jones’ defense, with one saying: ‘I’m sorry you had to experience that, I would not touch that food for fear she did something to it.’
Another said: ‘I am so sorry, so very sorry. It hurts my heart that this happened. This was wrong.’

DoorDash commented on the video ‘We are absolutely appalled you had to deal with this experience!’
The company later added they had fired the worker involved and ‘permanently removed’ their profile from the platform.
A DoorDash Spokesperson said: ‘Racism has absolutely no place in the DoorDash community.
‘The individual’s behavior in this video is abhorrent, disgusting and totally unacceptable, and we have permanently removed their account from our platform.
‘Our team is in direct contact with the consumer to offer our support and help make things right.’
