A dog who survived the Palisades Fire but went missing has been found.

The League of Extraordinary Mutts told affiliate KTLA on Sunday that a dog named Oreo is part of a devastated family that “lost everything” in the fire and were searching for their beloved dog.

Oreo is around two or three years old and weighs about 14 pounds, the rescue agency said.

A nonprofit animal rescue organization provided KTLA with this flyer containing information about Oreo, a dog who survived the Palisades Fire but went missing. (League of Extraodinary Mutts)

A flyer sent by League of Extraordinary Mutts indicates Oreo was last seen at 16001 Pacific Coast Highway; however, the date of the sighting was not immediately confirmed by the nonprofit.

There were reports of a similar looking dog being spotted near Via de la Paz and Friends Street on Thursday evening, according to League of Extraordinary Mutts, but the person who saw the dog was unable to catch it because it ran away.

An hour after this article was published, it was reported that Oreo had been found. A TikTok video captured the moment Oreo was reunited with his family.
