Waycross Murder Case: Police Arrest Three Suspects in Connection to Homicide

Following a shooting incident on Isabella Street, Waycross police have apprehended three individuals in connection with the murder of Lawrence Woods. All suspects now face charges of murder.

WAYCROSS, Ga. — The Waycross Police Department revealed on Wednesday night that they have arrested three people linked to the slaying of 35-year-old Lawrence Woods.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire on Isabella Street around 9:30 p.m. on November 29. Upon their arrival, they found Woods had been killed.

The investigation swiftly led to the capture of Alex Taylor, 38, on November 30, followed by Willie Edwards, 27, on December 1. Keitric McCaskey, 31, was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Currently, all three suspects are detained at the Ware County Jail, facing murder charges. The Waycross Police Department indicated that further charges might be forthcoming as the investigation progresses.
