Al Roker and Deborah Roberts’ daughter, Leila Roker, is engaged to longtime boyfriend Sylvain Gricourt.

Al joyfully announced on Instagram that his daughter, Leila Roker, got engaged to @gricourt.thegreat in Venice. The celebratory post was shared on Sunday, capturing the happiness of the special moment.

In the caption, Al expressed his excitement about the engagement and the future union of the young couple. He mentioned that they are looking forward to planning for their life together, filled with love and joy.

Leila, 26, also took to her Instagram account to announce her engagement Gricourt, 33.

Leila shared her side of the story in a heartfelt caption accompanying engagement photos. She reminisced about moving to Paris eight years ago, meeting her best friend seven years ago, and being surprised with a trip to Venice where she was proposed to just two days before the Instagram post.

Roberts — who also shares son Nicholas with Al — took to the comments of the post to congratulate her daughter.

“We could not be happier and more joyful!!!! Welcome to the family Sylvain! Now let’s plan a wedding! 🔔 ❤️❤️,” the ABC News journalist gushed.

Leila, a freelance journalist and content creator, wore a little black dress for her engagement photos while Gricourt opted for a black jacket and matching pants.

Gricourt popped the question to Leila with a pear-shaped diamond ring.

“Just two days ago I put a ring on her finger, and that’s the best thing I did in the last 33 years 💍❤️,” the groom-to-be captioned the engagement announcement via Instagram.

He also added, “@leilaroker qu’est-ce que tu dis de passer les 33 prochaines ensemble, et toutes celles d’après ?” which translates to, “What do you say about spending the next 33 together, and all the ones after that?”

The couple received many congratulatory comments on their engagement announcement, including one from Good Morning America co-host, Robin Roberts.

“Congratulations…incredibly happy for you!❤️❤️,” Robin penned in the caption of Leila’s post.

In the days leading up to to the engagement, Leila and Gricourt took to social media to share romantic snaps from their Venice vacation.

“Caffè Florian, history in a cup, looking over piazza San Marco,” he captioned a photo carousel shared Saturday.

The Roker family recently mourned the death of Al’s first wife, Alice Bell, who died at the age of 77 last month.

Bell and Al’s only child together, Courtney Roker, 37, paid tribute to her mother with an Instagram tribute shared Feb. 10.

“She was my mother, my heart, and the most loving grandmother to Sky. I was with her for her last breath, and I will carry her love with me always,” she captioned the post.
