CHICAGO (WLS) — At least 19 people have been shot, three fatally, in gun violence across Chicago so far this weekend, police said.

A man was found shot to death on the city’s North Side early Sunday morning, Chicago police said.
Officers responded to a call about a person shot in the Cabrini-Green neighborhood’s 800-block of North Cambridge Avenue around 12:20 a.m.
Responding officers found a 41-year-old man, on the ground outside, who had been shot in the body multiple times.
The victim was transported to Northwestern Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There is no one in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating.
Last weekend, another man was shot to to death on the same block, police said.
Police did not immediately provide further information about Sunday’s shooting.

Minutes later, a man shot a woman while trying to rob her at gunpoint in the Lakeview neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the 400-block of West Wellington Avenue just before 12:30 a.m.
A 24-year-old woman was walking outside when a silver SUV pulled up, police said. Three male suspects got out of the SUV and demanded the woman’s belongings at gunpoint.
Police said there was a struggle, and one of the suspects shot the victim before returning to the SUV and fleeing the scene.
The victim, shot in the abdomen, was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in good condition.
There is no one in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
A man was seriously injured in a South Loop shooting late Saturday night, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the 700-block of South Wells Street just before 11:30 p.m.
A 35-year-old man was outside when a person he had been arguing with fired shots, police said.
The victim, shot in the back and grazed in the chin, was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition.
There is no one in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
Hours earlier, a man was shot to death on the city’s West Side, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the Austin neighborhood’s 5600-block of West Division Street around 9:30 p.m.
A 53-year-old man was outside when someone he had been arguing with shot at him, police said.
The victim, shot in the head, was taken to Loyola Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There is no one in custody, and Area Five detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
One person was injured in a Kennedy Expressway shooting and crash on the city’s Northwest Side early Saturday morning, Illinois State Police said.
ISP said it happened on southbound Interstate 90 at North Cumberland Avenue in the city’s O’Hare neighborhood around 12:30 a.m.
A male driver suffered a gunshot wound, and his vehicle struck a semi, ISP said. A third vehicle was also hit in the crash.
The shooting victim, whose age was not immediately known, was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
No other injuries were reported.
ISP said all southbound lanes were closed for an an investigation, but they reopened just before 4 a.m.
Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
A man was found shot to death on the city’s Far South Side on Friday night, Chicago police said.
Officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 13200-block of South Langley Avenue around 9:40 p.m.
Responding officers found a 43-year-old man, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body, on the ground outside, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Prince Johnson.
There is no one in custody, and Area Two detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
Minutes earlier, a suspect on a scooter shot and seriously injured a man on the city’s North Side, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the Old Town neighborhood’s 500-block of West Scott Street just before 9:30 p.m.
A 40-year-old man was sitting in a parked vehicle when he saw a male of an unknown age approach him on a scooter, police said.
Police said the suspect took out a gun, and the victim drew his handgun.
The victim, shot in the leg and groin, was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition.
Officers recovered a weapon on the scene.
There is no one in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
